Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup chicken broth or water
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp dried parsley
  • ¼ tsp dried dill optional
  • 8 oz cream cheese optional, for extra creaminess
  • Optional garnish: fresh parsley chives, or green onions

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Crock Pot

  • Lightly grease your crock pot or use a liner for easy cleanup.

Step 2: Add Chicken

  • Place the chicken breasts or thighs evenly at the bottom of the crock pot.

Step 3: Make the Sauce

  • In a bowl, mix together:
  • Ranch seasoning
  • Cream of chicken soup
  • Chicken broth
  • Garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper
  • Stir until smooth and well combined.

Step 4: Combine

  • Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well coated.

Step 5: Slow Cook

  • Cover and cook:
  • On LOW for 6–7 hours
  • Or HIGH for 3–4 hours
  • Until the chicken is tender and fully cooked

Step 6: Shred the Chicken

  • Use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the crock pot. Stir to coat with the creamy sauce.

Step 7: Add Creaminess (Optional)

  • Stir in softened cream cheese or sour cream for a richer texture. Let it melt and combine fully.

Step 8: Garnish & Serve

  • Top with fresh herbs and serve hot with your favourite sides.
