Ingredients

  • 12 slider rolls brioche or Hawaiian
  • 10 oz thinly sliced ham smoked or honey‑glazed
  • 10 oz sliced Swiss or cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley or chives

Instructions

  • Preheat & prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Slice rolls: Using a sharp bread knife, slice the slider rolls horizontally into tops and bottoms, keeping them in one sheet. Place bottoms in the dish.
  • Layer fillings: Evenly layer ham slices over the bottom rolls. Top with cheese, tearing to fit as needed.
  • Make butter glaze: In a bowl, whisk melted butter with Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Glaze & assemble: Brush a generous layer of glaze over the cheese and exposed roll edges. Place roll tops back on. Brush the tops with remaining glaze.
  • Bake covered: Cover dish with foil and bake 10–12 minutes, until cheese is melted.
  • Crisp tops: Remove foil and bake 3–5 more minutes, until tops are golden brown.
  • Garnish & serve: Sprinkle with parsley or chives, slice apart, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Make‑ahead: Assemble and glaze sliders up to 8 hours in advance; refrigerate covered and bake when ready.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a 325°F oven (wrapped in foil) for 10–12 minutes.
  • Variations: Swap ham for turkey or prosciutto; use pepper jack for a spicy kick; add pickled jalapeños or swap Dijon for pesto.
